Support Providers
Collaborating with Supported Independent Living (SIL) Providers
At Vera Living, we believe that providing truly empowering homes for NDIS participants requires careful collaboration. That’s why we work closely with like-minded Supported Independent Living (SIL) Providers to ensure our residents receive high-quality, personalised support in their homes, on their terms.
We’re a registered Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA) provider, delivering quality SDA-approved homes across Australia. Our role is to provide high-quality housing that meets the needs of participants, while SIL providers are responsible for delivering day-to-day support that helps people live independently and thrive.

Our approach to SIL Collaboration
Our approach is built around participant choice, control, and safety. In each property, we thoughtfully match SIL providers to participants’ needs and preferences, ensuring support is truly people-centred.
We support SIL providers searching for new SDA housing to continue to support existing participants.
Our four-step approach to collaborate takes around 4 weeks, and includes:
-
1. SIL Application
To begin working with Vera Living, SIL providers must complete a detailed application process. This includes:
- Demonstrating alignment with NDIS Standards
- Providing policies that support participant rights, choice, and safety
- Supplying referees and evidence of quality service delivery
We want to work with providers who share our values and put people first - always.
-
2. Due Diligence Review
Once your application is submitted, our Participant Engagement Manager and Legal team conduct a thorough due diligence review within a two-week period.
-
3. Collaboration Agreement
Once you have met the criteria outlined in the application and has passed the due diligence process, a collaboration agreement is created. This outlines:
- Roles and responsibilities
- Expectations for quality and communication
- Procedures for supporting participant choice and continuity of support
With the agreement in place, we can then explore opportunities to collaborate on current or upcoming SDA properties.
-
4. Expression of Interest (EOI) and Allocation
Once approved, SIL providers are invited to respond to Expressions of Interest (EOIs) for upcoming SDA properties. Participants seeking tenancy in upcoming properties may recommend preferred SIL providers, ensuring a transparent, participant-led process.
Collaborate With Us
