Referral Terms & Conditions

  1. Available for all current SDA tenants in Vera Living properties once they have lived in a Vera Living home for at least 3 months (or 6 months if your tenancy transferred from another SDA provider) and provided you are up to date with all rental payments to Vera Living.

  2. To refer your friend to Vera Living, you can simply give them our contact details and tell them to let them know you referred them.

  3. You can say great things about Vera Living but you must not pressure your friend to move into a Vera Living property. Your friend should make sure the home is right for them and talk to their supports about their choices.

  4. Your friend will need to already be approved for SDA funding or we will need to assess their eligibility for SDA funding, and this may take some time. Your friend will not be offered a tenancy unless they are suitable for one of our SDA homes.

  5. For each of the friends you refer, who then successfully moves into a Vera Living property and stays there for at least 30 days, you will get one week of free rent (up to a maximum of $300), meaning we won’t charge you the usual RRC amount for 1 week as a “thank you” for your support

  6. You will receive your one week of free rent once your friend has lived in their Vera Living home for 30 days. You won’t need to do anything, it will be automatically applied as a “Referral Reward”. The “Referral Reward” is not redeemable for cash and will only be available if your tenancy agreement with Vera Living is still on foot.

  7. You can refer as many friends as you like and you will be provided with a Referral Reward for each friend (subject to the above conditions).

  8. Personal information collected for the purposes of the promotion will be handled in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and will only be used to administer this promotion and engage with the referred friend. Vera Living cannot disclose to you any private details about your friend’s NDIS plan or their application for a tenancy with Vera Living. You will be notified once your friend has signed a tenancy agreement with Vera Living.

  9. This is a pilot program and Vera Living reserves the right to vary, cancel or amend the program at any time.
